Mathew Hutchins -horseman, dedicated to education & longevity of performance horses with an emphasis on non-pro development. With over twenty years of experience and working with several successful programs around the world! Born in the state of Maine, Mathew has taken every opportunity to learn by travels to Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arizona, Germany, Austria & Switzerland. If that weren't exciting enough, he has also been privileged to have Mentors such as Bobby Lewis Quarter Horses, Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, EJ Laubscher Reined Cowhorse, Patty Brownshadel just to boast a few. Having a thirst for knowledge & competitive with himself nature, Mathew has a strong passion for coaching nonpros & offering interactive training programs where everyone & every horse is nurtured to progress. Mathew is very excited about this new partnership opportunity with the incredible owners of Lucky Z Ranch. They are planning many ambitious goals & are sure to make a splash in the horse industry!

Zara Switts has over 30 years of horse experience and has shown in NRHA, ARHA, and local horse shows. She has an extensive background in riding, working, and understanding equines. She has ridden horses all over the U.S. and in Korea. Zara has worked under amazing professionals who taught her the techniques, care, and maintenance for an elite level of equine athletes.

Lucas Switts is the key to the operation and business. He is the engineer that keeps us up and running. He grew up locally in Bowie, MD and fit perfectly into the ranching world. You will most likely find him on the tractor or fixing anything that breaks. He is the strength of our program and is the lead in all of the improvements being made around the ranch.
