Equine Stall Cleaner and Helper

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain horse stalls, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for the animals.

• Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, watering, and stacking hay.

• Assist with the handling and turnout of horses as needed.

• Monitor horse health and report any concerns to the stable manager or veterinarian.

• Perform general barn maintenance and cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mucking, and organizing supplies.

• Assist with the loading and unloading of feed and bedding materials.

• Support other team members in various tasks related to equine care and stable management.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with horses is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy bags of feed and bedding.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe stable.

• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.

• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team setting.

• Knowledge of basic equine care and handling practices is a plus.

Schedule:

• This is a part-time/full-time position with flexible hours. Weekend availability is required. Some early morning or evening shifts may be necessary to accommodate the needs of the horses.
